Dan Huffman, NRMCA, Testifies before Congress

On May 10, 2007, Dan Huffman, Managing Director, National Resources of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association testified before the Committee on Science and Technology Subcommittee on Technology and Innovation of the United States House of Representatives.

In his testimony, he explained pervious concrete, pointed out the EPA "Best Practices" status of pervious concrete, and then went on to describe the costs and benefits of this technology.

After explaining the facts and theory behind pervious concrete, he then went on to make his point by using a real world case example of the use of pervious concrete at Stratford Place, a housing development in Sultan, WA.
